V-1
Appearance

The V-1 was a primitive cruise missile, developed by Nazi Germany, during World War 2.
Like modern cruise missiles, they were unmanned weapons, that used wings, and air-breathing engines. Guidance was primitive, built around mechanical gyroscopes;
The "V" in the name of the V-1 and V-2 stood for "vengeance".
The Germans built about 30,000 V-1, and launched about 25,000 of them.
