Walter Elias Disney was a artist who was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois. He died on December 15, 1966. He was the creator of Mickey Mouse.
History
[edit | edit source]At age 4, Walt moved to Marceline, Missouri.
At age 9, Walt moved to Kansas City, Missouri per a newspaper. Walt loved to ride trains.
Walt took art classes.
A few years later, Walt moved to France for a few months to drive an ambulance.
A 9 months later, Walt moved back to Kansas City, Missouri.
Walt went bankrupt, so he moved to Hollywood, California because it is a more popular place to perform movies.
Walt had created Mickey Mouse. He named him Mortimer, but Lillian Disney didn’t like that name because it was too sissy. He named him Mickey.
Walt had created movies, such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
