Winston Churchill was Prime Minister of Great Britain during World War II, and again during the 1950's. He was also First Lord of the Admiralty during World War I. He was involved in the planning of the Gallipoli Campaign, and during World War II he made many famous wartime speeches including "We shall fight on the beaches...".
