Zemandi
Zemandi is a website for freelance writers that was founded in 2010. Unlike other freelance writing websites, writers need not fill out an application before completing a writing assignment. Assignments are given to writers when they click a "get new assignment" button on the site. When a writer completes an assignment, it is submitted to the client, and writers receive payments on Mondays. Despite the image that blogs and forums have given Zemandi for not paying very much per article, writers can request a coach after completing a dozen or so articles. Coaches can bring writers to the next level, where they can have more of a choice as to what genre of writing they want to complete, as well as getting paid more per article. Zemandi has a forum and a messaging system for writers, but other than that, it is a fairly basic website with no special social media features, which makes the site quite easy to use.
