55 Cancri A b
The exoplanet 55 Cancri A b is one of five planets orbiting 55 Cancri A, a yellow dwarf star 41 lightyears from the Solar system.[1][2][3]
Its mass is 262.273 times that of Planet Earth, about 83 percent of that of Planet Jupiter.[4] It orbits its star in 14.7 days, at an average distance of 0.1134 astronomical units.[3]
It discovery was announced in 1996, after studying changes in the radial velocity of its primary.[4]

We report 18 years of Doppler shift measurements of a nearby star, 55 Cancri, that exhibits strong evidence for five orbiting planets. The four previously reported planets are strongly confirmed here.
