Cemmaes

Cemmaes (also spelt Cemaes or Cemais) is a village and former parish in Powys, Wales. It was in the historic county of Montgomeryshire.[1]
Cemmaes is located in the Dyfi Valley (at the confluence of the Nant Coegen with the Dyfi), about 11km north-east of Machynlleth, on the A470 road between Newtown and Dolgellau. The church is dedicated to St Tydecho.[2]
Cemmaes is now part of the community of Glantwymyn.[3]
