Central America

Central America is a term commonly used for the narrow southern part of North America that joins to South America. It includes the following countries:

• Mexico
• Guatemala
• Belize
• Honduras
• El Salvador
• Nicaragua
• Costa Rica
• Panama

It has coastlines on its eastern side with the Caribbean Sea and on its western side with the Pacific Ocean.
