Clear Village

From Encyc

ClearVillage is an organization based in the United Kingdom. They are a charity group, started in 2008 by Thomas Ermacora. Their idea is to rebuild neglected spaces and to help the community. For example, in 2011, Thomas Ermacora and fellow musician Imogen Heap started the Walled Garden fund for ClearVillage, in which they helped rebuild a walled garden that had been neglected for years, so it could be part of the London community. So, from September until early October of 2011, Imogen, Thomas, the ClearVillage team and the volunteers (a.k.a. garden angels) helped till the soil and fix up the land. At this point, Imogen wrote a new song related to it, Neglected Space. Thomas Ermacora, founder of Clear Village, also founded The Bubbletank website and project with Imogen Heap in 2010. He also founded rebild.tv in 2005, which specialized in high-definition webcasting. In 2010, they broadcast one of Imogen's live shows, the Love The Earth film, her first Royal Albert Hall concert. ClearVillage has worked in over twenty countries, according to their website.
