Dylife

From Encyc
Site of the former St David's Church

Dylife was a village and parish on the Afon Twymyn in Montgomeryshire, Wales. The village was built on lead mining, and once had a population above 1,200. The mines closed in 1901 and today the village is abandoned.[1][2]

The parish was formed in 1856.[3] Today it is in the area of Llanbrynmair community council.

There was a church at Dylife, dedicated to St David. It has since been demolished but its remains are still visible.
