Fairbairn Sykes knife
The Fairbairn Sykes knife is specialized combat knife, developed for World War 2. It was designed for special forces, paratroopers and commandos.[1]
The knife's blade was black, for use at night.[1] It was relatively short, and thin, with the center of gravity, within the hilt. Both sides of the blade were intended to be kept extremely sharp.
