Llangybi is a village in southern Ceredigion, Wales. It is located between the towns of Lampeter and Tregaron on the A485 road.
Llangybi is located on the River Dulas which joins the River Teifi further down at Lampeter.
Llangybi is also a community in local government, including Betws Bledrws, Silian, Olmarch and part of Pont Creuddyn. As of 2011, the community had a population of 653. The parish of Llangybi was much smaller, not including any other settlements of note.[1] Its population peaked around 330 in the 1950s-1970s.[2]
St Cybi's Church is mostly from 1850, but has some parts possibly dating to as early as the 17th century.[3]
Llangybi had a station on the Carmarthen-Aberystwyth line from 1873 to 1965.
