Llanidloes Without

Llanidloes Without is a community in Powys, Wales. It surrounds the town of Llanidloes to its north, west, and east. It had a population of 661 as of 2011.

It was created in 1894, named because it includes the areas formerly part of Llanidloes parish which weren't made part of Llanidloes Urban District. In 1974 civil parishes in Wales became known as communities.[1]

The main settlement in the community is Y Fan. It also includes several smaller hamlets and farms, as well as parts of the Clywedog Reservoir and Hafren Forest.

The Welsh name of the community is Llanidloes Allanol.
