Llechcynfarwy
Appearance

Llechcynfarwy is a village and former parish in Anglesey, north-west Wales. Today it is in the community of Tref Alaw. The village's name is also spelt as Llechgynfarwy, and in the past the spelling Llechcynfarwydd was more common.
St Cynfarwy's Church is in the village.[1] The church was founded in the 7th century by St Cynfarwy, but not much else is known about him.
All forms of the village's name come from "llech" (meaning stone) and the saint Cynfarwy. Occasionally the name Llangynfarwy was used for the church/parish - "llan" means parish.[2][3][4]
