Rhine River

The Rhine River is one of Europe's major rivers. The headwaters of its main branch lie in the Alps, in Switzerland. Other branches have headwaters in Austria. But for most of its length it flows through Germany. The river's mouth and delta lie in The Netherlands, where it drains into the North Sea.
