Teebee
Teebee is a Norwegian DJ and producer of drum and bass music.
He started DJing in 1990 and released his first record in 1996. He was one of the first producers in the drum and bass scene to be from a country other than the United Kingdom to be popular. He won the Knowledge Magazine award for Best International Producer in 2001.
Teebee's music has a strong dark and futuristic science fiction influence. His material can be classified as techstep or neurofunk. His early work has similarities with Photek's work, as he was initially associated with Certificate 18 Recordings, along with Photek, Klute and Polar. He later created Subtitles Recordings with Polar.
Teebee has also incorporated experimental sounds into his music, such as China's Wong Fei Hung theme, On the General's Orders. In 2007, he worked with British producer Calyx on the album Anatomy for the label Momentum Music.
