Darowen

From Encyc

Darowen is a village and former parish in Powys, Wales. It was in the historic county of Montgomeryshire[1] and comprised the townships of Caerseddfan and Noddfa.[2]

Darowen is to the east of Machynlleth, in the hills south of the Dyfi Valley. The church is dedicated to St Tudyr. Just to the north there is a holy well named Ffynnon Dadur.[3] Today the village and the northern half of the parish are part of the community of Glantwymyn.[4]
