Fenni Fach is a hamlet on the River Usk, about 2.5 km (1.5 miles) west of Brecon. It is part of Yscir community in Powys,[1] and the historic county of Brecknockshire.

Spelt as Venny Vach, it was described as a hamlet in the parish of Brecon St John in 1868.[2] It was also its own civil parish, originally spelt Vennyfach before becoming the community of Fennifach in 1974. The community was abolished and made part of Yscir in 1986.[3] Its population was generally around 100, but decreased since the 1930s, and in 1971 it was recorded with a population of 63.[4] Fenni Fach as a civil parish also included the village of Cradoc.
