Glascwm
Appearance

Glascwm is a village in the valley of the Clas Brook in Powys, Wales. It was historically part of Radnorshire.
The community of Glascwm covers a much wider area, also including the villages and hamlets of Franksbridge, Hundred House, Cregrina, Llansantffraed-in-Elwel and Bettws Disserth.[1] In 2011 this community had a population of 551.
In the past the village's name was usually anglicised as Glascombe.
The current St David's Church in Glascwm dates to the 13th century, though there were likely earlier structures at the site. The village of Glascwm itself possibly dates back to the 6th century as a clas community.[2]
