Snead
Appearance

Snead is a small village and former parish on the River Camlad, in Powys, Wales. It was in the historic county of Montgomeryshire, near the border with Shropshire in England. The church is dedicated to St Mary.[1]
Today the area is governed by Churchstoke Community Council.[2]
Snead Church, dedicated to St Mary the Virgin, was largely rebuilt in 1870 and again in 1998. Its font perhaps dates back as early as the 12th century.[3]
