Trallong

Trallong (Y Trallwng in Welsh) is a village in Powys, Wales. It was historically a parish in Brecknockshire.
In 1986 the community absorbed the neighbouring parishes of Penpont and Llanfihangel Nant Bran.[1] Today it is governed by Trallong, Penpont and Llanfihangel Nant Bran Community Council.[2] Additionally the community also includes the hamlet of Soar and part of Aberbran. As of 2011 this community had a population of 369.
The parish church in Trallong is dedicated to St David.[3] It has existed since medieval times, but had significant rebuilding in the Victorian era.[4]
