Carnivora

Carnivora are one of the largest orders of Eutheria. As the name suggests, they are mostly carnivores.

There are ten families (excluding extinct animals):

• Canidae (dogs, wolves, jackals, foxes)
• Ursidae (bears)
• Procyonidae (raccoons, pandas)
• Mustelidae (weasels, ferrets, stoats, badgers, skunks, otters, martens)
• Viverridae (civets, mongooses)
• Hyaenidae (hyaenas)
• Felidae (cats, jaguars lions, panthers, pumas, cheetahs, tigers, ocelots, leopards)
• Otariidae (sea lions)
• Odobenidae (walruses)
• Phocidae (seals)
