Appearance

Llanddewi'r Cwm is a small village in Powys, Wales. Historically it was a parish in Brecknockshire. Until 1985 it was a community, now it is part of Duhonw.[1]
It is located about 2 miles south of Builth Wells. It was recorded as early as the 12th century, when the church is thought to have been founded. Significant repairs were made in the 19th century.[2] The church is dedicated to St David - the place name means St David's (Dewi) church/parish (llan) of the valley (cwm - referring to the valley of the River Duhonw).
Aside from the church, the village only has a farm and a couple houses. New Hall is an 18th century building with two storeys.[2] The parish also included some other farms.
