Maescar
Maescar is a community in Powys, Wales. Historically the area was part of Brecknockshire.
The main villages are Sennybridge and Defynnog, and it also includes the smaller settlements of Heol Senni, Pentre'r-felin and Llandeilo'r Fan.
As of 2011 its population was 965.
Maescar was originally an area of Defynnog parish, including Defynnog and Sennybridge.[1] Since then the boundaries have changed and it includes more areas.
