Middle East

The Middle East is a geographical region that includes the part of Western Asia bordering the Mediterranean Sea and touching Europe and Africa. It extends from Egypt and Turkey in the west to Iran in the East. Most countries in the Middle East have Muslim majorities, hot arid climates, and oil deposits. Many countries have Arab majorities.
