The binary star system 55 Cancri is located 41 lightyears from the Solar system.[1] It is found in the constellation Cancer.

The largest star, 55 Cancri A, is a yellow dwarf star, about the same mass as Sol, our sun.[1] 55 Cancri B is a red dwarf star, about 25 percent the mass of Sol.

Exoplanets have been detected orbiting both 55 Cancri A and 55 Cancri B.[1][2] Both stars are suspected of being orbited by a planet in its habitable zone.
